My husband's pet has been limping for a long while and I've urged him to bring it to the vet, but he kept refusing. The other day he said, "Fine. You bring it." 

 

But it's not my responsibility. Regardless, because I've been concerned for the animal, I called around and got pricing. Before I could tell him the quote he said he wasn't gonna pay a thousand dollars on a pet. 

 

I'm like, "Then you don't love your animal because you won't take responsibility for it. You shouldn't have a pet."

 

Now I'm thinking about when we get old. If he won't take care of his pet, will he take care of me in the future when I need medical help?
