I cannot believe it has been ten years since I last posted to this blog. Not that I didn't post, rather that I left this thing in limbo for so long without dismantling it. Then again, I started it an a flailing attempt at sanity rather than as a serious go at a blog so it really is no surprise if fell abandoned as life continued to exact rigorous demands on me. It's more a testament to my state of being in the past decade. 

 

Decade??? Ouch.

 

Well, is life better ten years later? Depends on what one defines as better. I harbored a snarky joy at the world as it's met its comeuppance with the pandemic. I was already in that medical boat a decade before covid reared. Everyone else just decided to hop in and make it the biggest ocean liner in history. But it also added a level of terror I barely made it through.

 

For now I've decided to come back here and spout my thoughts from time to time. It keeps me writing. That's a good thing.
